It is located 35 miles from south of Los Angeles, this airport served over 10 million passengers in 2016. John Wayne Airport, Orange County is named after the later actor. A bronze statue of “the Duke” commemorating the late actor is placed in the lobby of the Thomas F. Riley Terminal.
