Hanford has an arid climate, which means hot summers and cool winters. Summer temperatures can exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit in July and August and winter temperatures can dip below 40 from time to time. Rainfall is scarce throughout the year, but most of the rainfall comes in the months of January through March.
