Huntington Beach has been called "Surf City USA" because of its favorable surfing beaches. The city is host to the annual US Open of Surfing and Beach Games each summer. Some of the top surfers in the country come to compete and the city is bustling with amateurs and professionals alike. The July Fourth parade has been held annually for decades and is one of the largest of its kind in southern California. The city attracts millions of visitors each year to its sunny beaches and care free California atmosphere.
