COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Flight Information and Travel Updates

Coronavirus travel updates

Reports are changing every day, which can make it difficult to keep up with the points that are most appropriate to you.

We are continuously keeping this page up-to-date concerning the current outbreak of Coronavirus disease, also known as COVID-19. Given the nature of the crisis, the data will vary by location and shift at short notice and over time. So whether you need it now, or shortly, this page could be meriting a bookmark.

We strongly suggest reading the Coronavirus flying advice from your local officials and government bodies, such as the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, as well as the administration from the World Health Organization (WHO), a secure and trusted source of global news and message.

Coronavirus travel restrictions and bans

  • Government travel advice

Nevertheless, The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, has declared that domestic flight services in India will start from 25 May 2020, albeit in a calibrated manner. To ensure that airlines do not charge an exorbitant fare, the government has allocated sectors based on the estimated duration of flights; the list of their minimum and maximum fares chargeable can be found on our page.

Due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), all passengers are encouraged to follow the common health and travel administration issued from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Tourists should also interpret any travel warnings issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection before going on their trip.

Active February 2, there is a brief entry ban for any visitant who has been to China in the past 14 days, other than the urgent family of U.S. citizens and legal continuing residents.

Effective March 14, there is a temporary entry limitation for any visitor, other than U.S. immigrants, legal permanent residents, or their direct family, who have been physically present in the Schengen Area of Europe, as well as the United Kingdom and Ireland in the past 14 days. The Schengen Areas involves the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Additionally, anyone flying to the United States from South Korea will experience screenings before leaving flights.

Effective March 21st, non-essential flying between the United States, Canada, and Mexico is momentarily restrained.

Effective May 24, 2020, there is a temporary entry ban for any guest who has been to Brazil during the 14 days before travel, other than U.S. taxpayers or their immediate family, legal permanent residents, or flight crew members.
