Thailand Travel: 7 Places you shouldn’t miss

Thailand is famous for its beaches, cuisine, and culture, Thailand in itself is a country full of wonders. Being such a popular-priced vacation destination, searching for hidden gems in this country can be a challenging chore. But don’t worry, because we’ve got you covered. Below is a list of the top 7 most unique places to visit in Thailand, away from the crowd of the popular tourist spots. We have chosen the perfect locations for every kind of explorer, be it adventurous or a history lover.

Chiang Rai

About a four-hour-long bus ride from Chiang Mai is its more peaceful and more comfortable cousin, Chiang Rai. Lush mountains and fascinating wildlife surround it, but the original treasure of this destination is Wat Rong Khun or the White Temple. This exquisitely created temple is internationally known for its stunning architecture and rich cultural significance.

Erawan National Park

With seven-tiered waterfalls, caves, and countless trails to travel, Erawan National Park is Thailand’s most remarkable paradise that offers you a charming insight into the natural beauty of the country. Approximately 5 hours from Bangkok, this park stays open from 8 AM to 4:30 PM every day.

Climbing Railay

Recognized for bolted sport climbing with stimulating, overhanging routes and bouldering possibilities in caves, shorelines, and on the sea, stacks only reachable by boat (known as “deep water soloing”).

Best time to go: You may want to avoid monsoon by visiting Railay from November to April.

Sukhothai Historical Park

Included as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Sukhothai is home to shreds of the grand historical legacy of King Ram Khamhaeng, who governed during a session called the “golden age”; After just a six-hour-long bus ride from Bangkok, you can tour this old-fashioned city and behold the magnificent historical ruins and popular parks.

It is a must-visit place for all tourists and archaeology enthusiasts alike because of the patience in the aura of this place.

Historical Railway in Kanchanaburi

Kanchanaburi is a wonderful riverside field towards the west of Thailand, Commonly known for the Death Railway trestle constructed during World War II as a path to Myanmar. There are a lot of museums and historical displays to examine in this city, including the Allied War Cemetery.

Koh Larn, Thailand

You’ll be hard-pressed to find more immeasurable diving at a more affordable cost than at Koh Tao in the Gulf of Thailand. Instructors and divers reach from all over the world for the crystal, warm water with a profusion of tropical fish, corals, and wrecks. Koh Tao is inadequate enough to feel intimate and faultless, yet has some great beachfront bars, restaurants, and classic Thai bungalow settlements.

Phetchaburi

About 130 km southwest of Bangkok is the fascinating city of Phetchaburi, an excellent place to visit if construction and adventure are right up your lane. Amongst other temples, the Tham Khao Luang Cave is one purpose you shouldn’t miss out on.
